Bago City is a 2nd class city located 22 kilometers south of Bacolod City. It is rich with beautiful resorts. One of this is the Buenos Aires Mountain Resort. Buenos Aries is a hidden paradise located at located in Brgy. Ilijan in Bago City. It takes 45 minutes of travel to reach the area from Bacolod City. The resort is supported by the city government of Bago.
It has a Farmes Training Center, Pana-ad Building, pavilion, cottages and three swimming pools supplied with mountain spring water which comes in varying sizes for adults , children and swimming competitions. It is a gateway to the Rafael Salas Nature Center in Barangay Guintubdan and Kipot Twin Falls in Barangay Mailum where the Philippine National Oil Company geothermal plant is located.

Buenos Aires Mountain Resort is still under renovation...The ribbon cutting or the grand opening is on April 10, 2011.
